The host Atlanta Falcons came up on the short end of a 17-14 loss to the division rival New Orleans Saints.
In what was expected to be a high scoring game, neither team could seem to get things going offensively on a consistent basis.
After surrendering a touchdown and falling behind by three points with just over three minutes to play, the Falcons were hoping for another comeback.

The Atlanta Falcons used an opportunistic defense to cruise past the host Seattle Seahawks, 34-18.
A lot of people thought this could be a letdown game for the Falcons, but there were certainly no signs of that.
The Falcons dominated the time of possession and seemed to beat down the Seahawks in every phase of the game.
